“I just hear a buzz, no dial tone.” My landline is dead! What’s going on?
Let’s face it; Southern California has not had rains like this in 10 years! According to a news article on NBC Los Angeles’ web site, AT&T admits it has landline service outages in every part of Southern California. Verizon was also quoted, stating that it is also experiencing "higher than normal" outages of landline service in the LA area.
Telscape along with AT&T and Verizon is experience rain related outages and higher than normal volume of service calls for both landline and HSI. Barring any further storms, service should return to normal within the next few days.
